The São Paulo program unfolds in three acts, each anchored by a guiding inquiry that convenes a constellation of scholars and practitioners. Together, they will share keynotes, presentations, and dialogues shaped as choreographies of thought and exchange, guided by the values of purposeful connection and actionable discourse.
This encontro takes place at Teatro Oficina, a cultural landmark founded in 1958 in São Paulo’s Bela Vista neighborhood. Renowned for its pioneering role in experimental theatre and performance-based art, the theatre’s spatial design was conceived to collaborate with the events it hosts amplifying their revolutionary potential and the vitality of shared experience.
For this special occasion, Lumack Studio embraced this spirit of co-creation, introducing new elements that deepen the connection between space, body, and encounter. The design integrates a custom-crafted catering experience and a new outdoor area, as well as the design of a stairway linking Teatro Oficina to the Bixiga Park, a gesture that celebrates the continuous, living dialogue between the theatre and its urban landscape.
Through this layered choreography of architecture, experience, and intention, the São Paulo edition of re:arc becomes not only a symposium, but a living act of spatial care, relational design, and collective becoming.
