HELLO ADA -  SPATIAL DESIGN

2025COPENHAGEN KIDS TECHNOLOGY FESTIVAL

For the Hello Ada Festival, we created an imaginative, hands-on spatial design that reflects the spirit of creativity, collaboration, and learning. The festival is a nonprofit initiative aimed at inspiring children and their parents across Denmark to explore technology and STEM through engaging educational activities and tech workshops.

Working within a modest budget, our approach focused on resourceful design and sustainable production. Using simple, accessible materials, such as cardboard and vinyl, we transformed the space with lightweight and flexible elements, primarily cardboard structures, that invited children to build, create, and reconfigure their surroundings. These tactile environments mirror the principles of coding: playful, open-ended, and full of possibilities.

In close collaboration with the venue, we utilized Station’s existing furniture and architectural features, adapting them into our spatial storytelling. Zones were intuitively arranged to encourage movement, discovery, and interaction, making the entire venue feel like a living lab of ideas.

By allowing kids to shape their environment, physically and intellectually, we embedded the festival’s core message: technology is a tool for creativity, and everyone can be a maker.
