Inspired by the "Houses of Thought" of the Colombian Amazon's Indigenous peoples, the structure is a hand-woven dome crafted from pinewood, Danish eelgrass, and Local Venetian marsh reeds. This sanctuary-like space serves as a threshold where perceptions shift and community connection deepens.
Inside, a two-channel video titled We Are All Woven highlights the collective building practices of the Piaroa La Urbana community, showcasing how architecture can embody ecological wisdom and spiritual presence.
The installation functions not just as a physical space but as a symbolic vessel for rethinking communal life, fostering dialogue among humans, nature, and cultures. It challenges visitors to engage with time, space, and each other in transformative ways. Supported by the Re:arc Institute and Colombia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the project is a call to rediscover the wisdom rooted in traditional practices.
